I've been buying Star Wars stuff over the last couple of years. Every time I tried to get R2 in some type of Black Series, he was generally pricey at the time I had little to spend. Saw this little deal and had to take a stab at it. He looks great in the packaging, which was in great shape by the way. Really happy with the purchase.

Wave one of the Star Wars 40th Anniversary 6 inch figure set comes with Obi Wan (New figure), Han Solo, Leia (new head sculpt and paint) R2, and Luke. First off the bad.... R2-D2 is a re-release of the Back Series back box and is not that great .....Look at the Bandi model if you want a great R2, the cloth tunic on Luke looks bad but the figure is pretty good. Han is the same as the Black Series and while not great its not bad, Leia's head sculpt looks better the the Black Series and the best of the lot is Obi Wan. This is a must if you want to collect the complete set and while not perfect nothing from Hasbro is.

Good belt, shoulder straps and leg holster. Loose enough to be realistic but not too loose that they'll fall off. Left shoulder joint clicks when you move or position it. But that's my only complaint. Great addition for my son's Marvel collection.
