The premise of this game titled Bubble Bobble Part 2 for Nintendo Entertainment System is the same as the original Bubble Bobble, destroy all enemies in each level to the next, but has some differences and additions. Unlike Bubble Bobble, levels develop in various places. If the players hold down the button to launch bubbles, the character is inflated and can float across the screen. Every ten levels, the players face a boss and as to be able to beat him, the action is relocated in a different area.
I must say I wonder now why this game is so rare and expensive it's one of a kind nice sequel to bubble bobble part 1 I am happy I found this game in a multi game cart that has 200 games in 1 for the Nintendo ds it's exactly the same as this one just portable and play anywhere but yes this game is very fun you blew bubbles at your enemies you pop the bubbles and the enemies turn into fruit and new ability you can float and there is triple bubbles to throw so pretty neat features so I would say this game is definitely hard to find I had it when I was little so I am sure lost it but not a problem I got it for the ds and relived all those memories when I played it for the nes so definitely add this game to your collection it's fun cute and the challenging has old and new bosses the bubble bobble collection is worth buying they also have part 1 there both fun.Read full review
I would not recommend this game to anyone. I was thinking it would be an add on to the first but it looks like it was made 10 years before the first game. terrible graphics
I love the Bubble Bobble series.
Bubble Bobble 2 builds on the originals that I loved.
Pros:
Bubble Popping fun
2 player coop
catchy tunes
improved graphics over the orinal
Now with more boss battles
ability to float/ shoot 3 bubbles at once
cons:
Graphics are much improved, but I still prefer the simple design of the original.
I don't care for the floating mechanic much, because I like to hold B while moving (Thank you mario) but holding B causes you to hold in bubbles/move slower, until you're able to float
Expensive. Seriously I paid over $100 dollars for this. I used to rent this at the video store as a kid for like $5!
It's a must play... Scratch that.. MUST OWN!!!
