Perfect design for their intended use
To me, Fender nailed these pickups right on the head. Do they hum? In my tele, barely, and only at high volume/gain, and they are still better than some hum buckers. Do they sound like single coils? Pretty dang close, but in my opinion, only single coils will ever sound like single coils. These pickups have great tone, strong output, and the volume is pretty equal no matter where the selector switch is, which I love. I got exactly what I was hoping for with the Fender Gen 4 Noiseless pickup set.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Perfect Tone sounds
This fender fourth generation bridge pick up is the best I’ve ever installed.the sounds are like a Gibson humbucker.perfect. very rich in gain and sustain it is a great purchase highly recommend it. They also work great with a fender Stratocaster as well.

Beautiful sounding and quiet as a church mouse!
Thought I would try these pups in my Fender 2017 American Professional Series Telecaster, despite varying reviews. To be fair, most of the reviews were about the n3 version and not the new n4's. Also, most were for the Strat and not the Tele. Although I was pretty happy with the tone I was getting from my V-Mods that came stock, I was getting that 60-cycle hum from the neck pickup that was bugging me so I thought I would try the n4's, despite hearing that I might lose some of that crispy twang that Tele's are known for. These bad boys are brighter than the V-Mods, in my opinion and are super quiet even when I am pushing my overdrives. I am very happy with this purchase!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not the appearance and sound that I like .
It's not the best in my book, they are to clear, brittle to my ears, I got them on my Fender Telecaster and have to back up my treble half way almost to get a sound that I like, The top finish of the pickup is kind of rough and bumpy, not what I would expected to be.
