Epi Classic Pro Alnico pickups sound fantastic! Big upgrade from the older alnico Epi SG pickups which were a bit muddy, particularly in the neck position. Most importantly, these were super easy to install! No soldering. They coil split as well. These are A5 magnets which sound a bit edgier than the A2 magnets in the Epi Probuckers. I have those in an Epi Les Paul. Both are great for what they do - Probuckers are superb in the LP and these A5 Classic Pros are excellent for an SG, imo.
