A fun side scrolling game, but not as fun as Tiny Toon Adventures 1
Tiny Toon Adventures 2 is a good side scrolling adventure game. Unlike the original Tiny Toon Adventure game, Tiny toons 2 is more "RIDE" related. Each level is a type of amusement park ride, and you must beat levels and get points and trade them in for tickets to play different levels in the game. At first it's a little confusing but you'll get the hang of it. A side scrolling game that'll constantly keep you on the move.
I purchased this game because I have the first Tiny Toon Adventures game for NES and I love that game. BUT tiny toon adventures 2 is not as much fun as the first game. But it's still worth checking out. Be ready for a challenge.
I originally played the original Tiny Toons for the NES and loved it. I decided to buy Tiny Toon Adventures 2 and found out that it was nothing like the original. The graphics are slightly improved and more characters are available such as Babs and Hampton, but these are the only good things about this game. The levels are difficult and repetitive, and you often find yourself having to play them over and over just to get enough tickets to get into the final level - the funhouse. I got so angry and impatient with this game that I decided to use the game genie on this game. This did not alleviate my frustration because the last level is sooo irritating! I almost threw the controller on the floor in a fit of rage against this game! Don't waste your money on this game! Pick up the original version of the NES or look for other good Tiny Toon titles on different systems such as SNES, Genesis, Game Gear, or any of the gameboy systems.Read full review
