I noticed a lot of responses did not favor well the construction of the knife since it has been made in China versus the old made in the United States of America. However this is my 2nd knife and it has functioned as good as my original there is no sloppiness to the way the blade has been attached and the blade is very sharp. Maybe in a few years of abuse I will see the difference from the American versus the Chinese. For $25 or less it's a good knife.
