This little unit does exactly what it says it will do. For the price it is a winner. It does have a couple of downfalls though. First off when you turn it on it starts up with 10 Volts output which is high enough to destroy some circuits. Second the frequency select is a bit fiddly in that you can not just turn the knob down to decrease the frequency across decimal boundaries. For example if you are on 100KHz and you want to go to 90KHZ you can not just go down with the cursor on the 1. You have to go right one and go down from there but that is nit picking a bit since you would have a lot more money in anything as useful as this is. One of the things that is nice about the unit is the ability to enter arbitrary wave forms however the mechanism they provide to do this is very clunky and time consuming. The output is clean and accurate and the sweep is flat across the entire range of the device. The frequency counter is OK but it is quite deaf in that it takes about 1 Volt of signal to get it to read. All in all I am very happy with it and would recommend it.Read full review
