As Apple does not sell these original equipment batteries retail, I expected it to arrive as a used battery from a phone being refurbished. I did not however expect it to arrive as a dead battery which will not accept any charge from any charger. I had read the negative reviews and thought I would gamble on the good reviews. I suspect all of the good reviews are bogus. Apple does not retail sell these batteries outside their own repair center... they are used batteries... and worse, they are bad used batteries. It is cheaper to go to Apple Store and get a replacement there. Inconvenient, but I am on my third "OEM" battery from retailers... none are 100% compatible. Save your money... spend the few more bucks and save your headaches... easy to swap the battery... but after four batteries (including two new OEM compatible) I have more headaches than cheap solutions.Read full review
