This is the exact perfect fit for Rheem, Ruud and Richmond hot water heaters (all made by Rheem). If your water heater looks like the one in the pictures, exhaust duct adapter is the correct one. This unit uses the full 12" exhaust opening that tapers to an 8" duct collar which provides better air flow then the OEM.
