The LG Gram 17 convinced this diehard MacBook Pro user to switch back to Windows after 10+ years of macOS. Why? First of all, the screen-to-weight ratio - at under 3lbs, it's half the weight of a 16" MBP, and the native 2K 17" screen is bigger with a thinner bezel (and no ugly webcam notch). While some may argue about the color accuracy between the two, the Gram 17 is not trying to be a graphic design or editing machine, but is very accurate nonetheless, not mention vibrant, sharp, and bright. (Also, the 2022 model features a better matte screen unlike the glossy screens from 2020-2021.) Second reason is the keyboard. It has the best feeling keys in any laptop I've used, with satisfying key travel, a great backlight, perfect spacing, and a 10-key which is so useful when doing any kind of math or financing. It's just the perfect laptop keyboard. Finally, the price. The Gram 17 is $1k less than a comparable 16" MBP, and while it's not quite as beefy performance-wise, the 12-core i7 + 16gb DDR5 is more than enough to tackle 99% of what most of us use laptops for. The only area it suffers in is graphics, as most Gram models use the built-in Intel chipset. It's decent, but can't compare to a dedicated GPU (Note: there are Gram configurations that include RTX 2070 GPUs at the time of this review). Despite that, the LG Gram 17 represents the best bang for the buck for a lightweight, capable, and incredibly well engineered laptop in the market today.Read full review

The Lg gram is a very nice laptop. I am satisfied with the purchase. That being said there was some issues. It was advertised as an open box return which should mean a very slightly used computer. However the battery is only able to charge to 85% capacity (original) and lasts for about 7 hrs when charged to full (17 hrs is advertised when new). There was also some minor damage to the exterior of the case. Otherwise it it is really nice.

The price was fantastic. It's really lightweight. Battery life remains to be seen. Was easy to get up and running. I wish I'd found one with a touch screen, tho. That's been a bit of an adjustment.

The seller is the best part of the product for me. I got a brand new LG Gram for $300 cheaper. The LG Gram in itself is a great and light netbook type laptop. My only issue is the coating of the laptop is garbage, and will flake off easy if scratched, so watch the corners, don't bump them. Aside from that, this specific year decided to go with soldered on LPDDR, so the memory is NOT expandable. :( You can however, get a 2nd nvme Battery is great, especially if you put on battery saver mode. You'll go 2 hours on 14% just writing code in VSCode and refreshing your browser.

It is fast, works with WiFi 6E. It was easy to set up. Speakers could be better. Overall it is a good computer.
