Product is awesome, just replaced the original Whirlpool one with no modification at all. I would suggest to everyone that replace this unit to manually fill it with water. MIne never produce ice, I waited to reach internal temperature but never started, after 3 days, I added water in the slots and it started to produce ice and then it was fine. I was almost removing it thinking that some other parts were broken but not....so do this first and you will be ok.
