Unreliable and fall apart quickly
I bought two sets of these thinking I could use them instead of buying new chargers for my USB-C devices. Big mistake. The plastic housing quickly slides off the units, making them difficult to insert/take out of USB-A chargers. And many of my USB-C devices either won't charge at all OR start charging but soon stop when plugged into these adapters, even when I use the manufacturers' cords for my devices. Now, these adapter sit in my junk drawer, unused, because they're so unreliable.

Apple has seen fit to change the power adapter on its iphones and watches but without providing the new adapter with the purchase. This very very inexpensive adapter allows me to use the new adapter cables without having to purchase the power adapter. Had Apple provided this item they would not prove to be the cheapskates they are. I bought a new Apple watch which was useless to me until I got this adapter.

My back up is usable
New pc diesnt have a type c port this solved that. Worked well. Was able to connect my usb type c portable drives well. It only works on the blue usb ports tho.
