It was not the product I ordered, I ordered the front grease trough one.. it was advertised as that I DID NOT WANT THE REAR GREASE TRAP, but that was what was delivered.. I was upset but my husband and neighbor had already unpacked it and put it together, so yes it does exactly what I want, it is a great grill,EXCEPT in the fact you have to clean it by pushing to a small hole in back of grill, which is difficult , have to stand at rear to clean towards me , which is not ideal, the front trough and grease trap makes this so much easier and better, I bought this one as it was described and advertised as a front trough , I could have purchased this rear grease trap one about $50 cheaper elsewhere but was willing to pay extra for what I wanted!!! Other than that it is a great flat top grill!!! I am looking to get a new top with front trough grease trap then it would be perfect!!! Overall much better than a grill. Thise dang hamburgers would start a 3 alarm fire. ONLY gripe is the weld bead over the drip tray. There's a hole there for jiuces to drip into pan. Well under that hole and behind it there's a weld that supposed to catch dripping and direct into tray. Nope! If the drippings are at a fast pace, the poorly designed and placed bead will cause drippings to miss tray completely and drip down the leg of grill. Only reason it got a 4 star. My only regret was not getting a stainless steal version.

I took a chance on this flat iron grill but After a week, I am wondering if I made a good decision. I did not get a cook book to look at my options for cooking meals and it requires a record number of accessories in order to cook. I miss the char taste on my burgers, chicken and pork chops. Out of the last 7 days, I have cooked on it for 5. I even attempted to scramble eggs on it and they ran down the grill into the drip cup............... So the jury is still out for me as I look for things to cook on it!.
