FISH IDENTIFICATION ICONS ARE POOR AND UNLIKE HUMMINGBIRD AND LOWRANCE UNITS IN THE SAME PRICE RANGE, GARMIN UNITS DON'T COME WITH TOPOGRAPHICAL MAPS OF THE LAKE BOTTOMS WHICH ARE VERY HELPFUL FOR FINDING GOOD FISHING SPOTS. THE GARMIN IS EASY TO USE AND HAS A GOOD HIGH VISABILITY COLOR SCREEN. THERE IS ONE SCREEN SETTING THAT IS TOO DARK TO SEE VERY WELL THOUGH. OVERALL THIS IS AN ACCEPTABLE UNIT.
Great fish finder with gps and side view. All features are great.
Images are crystal clear the gps is very easy to understand as is the Garmin products. Changing uses from the home screen is very simple. Along with the Active Captain app for free I love my New Garmin Striker Plus 7sv.
MY WIFE AND I LOVE IT. THE MAP FUNCTION IS VERY HELPFUL. IT'S NOT YOUR REGULAR GPS, BUT IT WILL KEEP YOU FROM GETTING LOST. WE MADE A WAYPOINT FROM THE RAMP WE PUT THE BOAT IN AND SAVED IT. WE NAMED IT RAMP 1. WE WENT ALL AROUND THE LAKE, CLARK HILL LAKE IS A VERY LARGE IN GA. WHEN WE WERE READY TO COME BACK TO THE RAMP, WE WENT TO WAYPOINTS AND SELECTED RAMP 1 AND FOLLOWED THE LINE BACK TO THE RAMP. IT'S A LIFE SAVER.
