I've been using a Crucial SSD in my laptop for 5 years now and it just flies compared to any hard drive. Within Crucial offerings, the BX line is good, the MX line is just better. I've had bad experiences with some other brands. Now, I stick with Crucial MX (Samsung EVO might be a good alternative but is usually more expensive).

Crucial has been a great product for some time, and it has beaten Intel and Western Digital not only in pricing, but manufacturer warranty and product integrity. I've used an Intel SSD in the past, and the warranty is only 3 years versus Crucial's 5 year warranty, and the price for the Intel SSD at the time was $229 (and is now listed as a higher price. This Crucial SSD was listed at $124.95. Definitely a better deal, and the overall quality of this product has better ratings than the Intel unit. The rest speaks for itself.
