I set the orbweaver up to enhance my workflow. I mainly do work with architectural drawings, renderings, and floor plans...so I have one profile set up so I for speed and ease of processing hundreds of plans. I'm also a photography, so I have another profile set up for my Lightroom workflow, and another for my retouch in photoshop. AWESOME to reduce jumping off my mouse to hit hot keys, or digging in menus to get what I want. Keeps my hand fatigue down too. The only thing I wish the chroma would do is let me chose color profiles for each key, or at least each row, to help organize tools better....but I'm usually not looking at my hands anyway.

It is good and the Razer ergonomic gaming keyboards are still infinitely better than the keyboard only add-ons you see. It is worse than the discontinued Nostromo in some ways, better in others. Pro -Like the extra keys -Physically adjustable for all hand sizes Meh -RGB -Software Cons -Physically adjustable sections can be a little loose at the joints, particularly the direction thumb section. -Mechanical switches feel out of place on this -Directional thumb stick isn't as comfortable as what was on the Nostromo. I am not convinced it will be as durable as my Nostromo which has lasted forever and still works great.

3 things.... for some reason this inst incorporated into the synapse software which is a pain if you play mmo's and change profiles a lot. also if you add the program, i.e world of Warcraft , to the quick start profile selector, you cant have sub categories. so its kinda useless in games with more then one character and profile secondly the lighting seems to not change after a while. like say your on for a few hours and you change the profile it will not change with the new profile..... so if you depend on a color representing a profile, your on your own. the thumb button should have a guard. a lot of times it will move too close to the keyboard and activate the switch also the "13" key was dirty and i had to use some 91% alcohol to clean it.

ordered this last week and got it fairly fast even with a holiday. been wanting to get one of these for a few years now but couldnt justify it till xmas got here. I Play world of warcraft and the ergonimics and ease of use portrayed seemed useful but when i plugged it in I had a very hard time understanding how to set up the keys for world of warcraft, google wasnt very helpful nor was youtube but through trial and error i finally figured it out. this being my first game pad im very impressed with it and would recommend this purchase especially at the price of 42.95

I'm comparing this to the Orbweaver Chroma, this has 1 less key for a scroll wheel! Pretty cool, the space bar is better, its an actual key this time the dpad and button above look better but they are still the same kind of button, so small improvement. The software used to be much better on the Orbweaver though. Light profiles for each keypad profile. Now they are separate. It makes it really frustrating if you use that rgb to color code your controls. Used to be so easy, now I'm not even sure that functionality is even available. The colors are not as accurate on the Tartarus as they used to be on the orbweaver. The keys are their own kind of clicky, never felt anything like it.
