I have been piercing a long time but I have never seen ear holes turn black! The gun is fine and not all the ears swole up but if u are sensitive to certain metals don’t use the studs! I don’t know what they are made of but it is NOT SURGICAL STAINLESS STEEL! Earholes turn black around 2 weeks in and one of my people experienced major swelling but the gun is a great value! Price wasn’t bad. However, you get what you pay for. Very cheap quality, but it gets the job done I guess. Only issue I had was that when you punch the hole, you have to hold the earring in place because when you try to let go of the gun it’s still stays together which removes the earring. And you have manually put it back. If you can afford a better one buy a better one.
