My really old mast Head Antenna died. I needed a fast replacement that I could bolt in the stern pulpit of my sail boat. I put this new antenna on the mast Head when I have time to route new coax up the mast.

I tested this antenna side by side with a Shakespeare 4400. The Tram surprisingly surpassed the 4400 in distance by approximately 1/4 mile. Both antennas were brand new out of the box. Although both swr’s were very low, the Tram was slightly better.

The real thing and comes with cable with installed UHF connectors and even the Allen wrench to put the antenna into the base coil assembly. Mounting bracket for horizontal rail but likely will mount to vertical rail.

Very good quality. VSWR was better than 1.2/1...nearly a perfect match. Ready to install with connectors attached to cable.
