We have had interference with our over-the-air (OTA) signal reception that causes very frequent loss of signal and pixelation where we live now. We live in a medium size suburban area within 15-20 miles of most all the stations we watch. About 80% of the stations come from the same direction within +/- 10 degrees of each other. I have placed an antenna on our roof and there was some improvement, but I am still looking for anything that can eliminate the problem. Unfortunately I don't have the means to identify the exact sources of interference so I am trying anything that might help. Since our houses are typically less than 100 feet apart and everyone uses cell phones, I decided to try this filter. Connecting the filter to the antenna feed did not degrade the signal and the incidents are less frequent, but not eliminated. This definitely made a change. I can now watch the channels I wanted to watch without hitch (or glitch). However, although it helped me and my purposes, others may find issues. I say this because I have lost 14 channels after installing this, and 4 that weren’t glitchy now are. To recap, I’m very happy with it, but it isn’t perfect. I installed this without the use of an amplifier. I tested this with one, both before and after the amp, and after the amp, which worked better than before the amp which the manual recommends, but for me the best reception was with no amplifier at all.

Well i live just on the edge of the max range from my local broadcast stations and my antenna is 20ft up....i receive around 90 channels(actual 38 channels we watch) my reception is great on most but a couple were weak...it did seem to help with the signal strength and interference... my picture is way clearer and the weaker channels don't seem to lose strength and pixelate as much.
