Screen is good quality. The aluminium casing makes its pretty sturdy, very little flex on the case when you try twisting it. I put it through some monitor tests and found response time varied from 15ms to around 25ms in high demand. Seller states 15ms so that is in low demand conditions. The brightness is about what it states at 220mcd but personally i would like more. You can forget using this outdoors. I found the viewing angle pretty good and can mostly see everything from basically side on. Colour production is again what it states at around 72% which on a screen showing gradients will show up circles of colour instead of a nice smooth transition. I use a CAD program on the road and i found a gradient background was showing up perfect on my laptop but would show rings of colour instead on the portable S3 Monitor. Its not a huge deal but its noticeable. Overall it is what it states it is, no misleading product here. I do wish the specs where a bit better, better colour range and brighter screen would make this an ideal unit. For the price though there's nothing really to complain about. If you want a brighter screen then you can expect to pay more for the privilege. Solid product overall i have found.Read full review

Monitor screen with a good image, good definition but very fragile. With added foam protection and a rigid plate, the screen was still damaged during a short trip, carried in a bag. Now areas of lower color definition are visible on the screen in a kind of cloud. This seems to be due to a folding of the screen in its thinnest area that would not be strong enough. This is a pity, because the product is technically satisfactory. At the end, too much expensive with theses defaults.

I have been looking for truly a portable monitor that doesn’t suffer from the limitations of usb 3 power and data transmission speeds for several years. I use several laptops of various vintages running OSX, Windows 7, and linux in addition to a Rasberry PI. This monitor is the only one with really good resolution I have found that supports them all!

The portable monitor is well designed and really nice looking. It is really thin, so you have to be careful. It comes with carrying sleeve. The monitor stand could be better. Overall it's a great product!

I am honestly super imporessed with this monitor. I am using it with a 2019 Macbook Pro 16" and it looks just as good as that screen which is unbelievable. The density of the pixels for a 4K screen of this size is just awesome looking. And its nice and portable and seems to be well designed. My only thing I'd change about it, is make it so the wires don't have to stick out the side all the time by moving them to the back, or providing right angle cables.
