I bought these for myself about three years ago. They've held up wonderfully, just as cozy and supportive as they were when they were new. I'm a side sleeper with neck and back issues and these pillows greatly reduce the tossing and turning. I sleep great and they've really improved my quality of life! I have had to replace the ticking, as it wasn't ticking so much as mesh interfacing and didn't hold up at all, especially when removing from the zippered covers on laundry day. My daughter has been so jealous of them, I finally bought her a pair, too! I've owned more expensive memory foam pillows designed for side sleepers and even though they were four times the price, I really don't see the value in them as much as I do these pillows. I sleep just as well and have plenty of head support no matter if I'm laying on my side or on my back. The difference is that these are made of little foam bits instead of a molded form, and so they have a different feel to them. Some reviewed them as lumpy, but when I'm laying on them I don't find it to detract from my comfort or from the performance of the pillow. All in all, for the price you pay you really can't beat these pillows. Hundreds of times better than those flat poly fill Walmart specials, for the same price. Read full review
Perhaps I was expecting too much? I read all the reviews and because of this I was expecting a good nights sleep on my new pillows but was sadly disappointed. The pillows are heavy, nice and thick if that's what you're looking for, however, they are too lumpy. I slept on them for almost a week and tried to adjust but they were very uncomfortable, causing my neck to hurt. If you sleep on your side, your ears hurt because of the different lumps, sleep on your back and not so bad. The shredded foam idea needs more consideration, not just stuffed inside a casing like a sausage. During the night I felt my head sinking in the middle with puffy sides up to my ears. You have to plump them or there will be a concave in the middle before morning and I don't think my head is any heavier than most. I'm a small person. I had to get out my old pillows and sleep on them. I'll try to find someone who can use the lumpy pillows. Sorry. Read full review
I needed to replace 2 pillows for our guest bedroom and for the price I paid for these Serta Gel Memory Foam pillows, I couldn't pass it up. If you like a fairly firm pillow and a bit high, then you will like these. If you like a flat pillow with little firmness, not for you. My son came to visit and used them and said they were perfect to sleep on and gave good support to his neck, which he has problems with. He likes them better than my super expensive gel bamboo pillows! These are very well made and a great brand.
This is a reliable brand and I read many reviews before my purchase. I've tried so many pillows. There isn't a perfect pillow. These were a little stiff and full at first but have spread out now. I'm still adjusting to them. I can't use floppy pillows because there's no support and the therapeutic ones aren't comfortable. As far as pillows are concerned I think these will work out fine. The cost is so reasonable for two pillows especially for this brand.
Once my pillows arrived ( on time)
& pulling out of the box I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED, there was very little chemical odor!! That's (1) +, UNFORTUNATELY, THEY ARE VERY HEAVY, & I have RA, so my hands are NOT MY STRONG POINT. I am getting used to the after having them a few days. Actually I slept almost 10 hours, but I also had surgery, so I dont know if it was the Anastasia or the pillows! They have not lost there shape just need a plumping up each morning & mid day ( in bed a lot) anyway I do believe 4 the price I paid well worth a shot! Oh, BTW, I have not noticed being hot
