As an adult gamer I go back into my box(s) of older platforms and find gems like this game. RoboCop verses Terminator is a nice "shoot em up" scrolling game from the days when three buttons on a controller were enough. The rating of MA-13 is laughable by todays standards, but times and tastes change. If you want a game that helps you think, then skip this title. If you want a game that feeds the shoot, complete levels, and enjoy being a kid again, then look no further. Not a bad deal on eBay for 20-30 bucks for a used complete game.

A fast paced action adventure. Being one of the later releases this game really shows what could be done on the Sega Genesis. Smooth animations, beautifully drawn sprites and a decent weapon selection and with solid game gameplay. Just make sure you don’t lose all of your upgrade weapons before a boss fight.

There are certain games for the Genesis that you must own to get the full experience of the console. Games like Sonic the Hedgehog, Contra Hard Corps, Streets of Rage, etc. Well you can add this to the list. Robocop vs The Terminator is a 16-bit classic that just doesn't get old. You play as Robocop fighting through hordes of Terminators and, its just fun. The controls are fluent most of the time and the action is non-stop. A good way to describe this game would be a gory slowed down version of Contra Hard Corps. It is a run and gun but isn't as fast paced. The gore is there and it just keeps the feel of both of the films in the game. This game deserves to be up at the top along with titles like Sonic and Contra, a must have!
