It wasn't what I was looking for, but I sure am glad it was what I found.
I have had my SuperOcean for some time, and it is about one link too small. I called a Breitling dealer and found out they no longer make the Professional bracelet, or the replacement links. My next stop was eBay. I looked for two to three weeks, and the only links available were in Asia. I kept looking and then spotted the SuperOcean. I noticed the size was just over 2.5mm wider. It didn't seem like much, but I liked the styling so much I wanted one. I bid on watch after watch, and finally won the bid on a Steelfish for my price. I was the one and only bidder. About four days later the package arrived, no box or papers, but there it was...such a beautiful watch. It was afflicted with the same problem as my other watch, one link too short. I checked eBay and no links for the professional bracelet with screws. I found one fellow who had a bracelet, but it had pins holding it together. He said the links would interchange. I contacted the Breitling dealer to make sure. The dealer checked with Breitling, and the Professional bracelet was discontinued, but they had a new, old stock bracelet with screws for the same price as the one on eBay. After two weeks, I have the new band. The Breitling SuperOcean Steelfish, to me, is the ultimate watch. It now is comfortable, keeps accurate time, and makes me look better. I have had the Omega Seamaster Prosessional, which was a very good watch...weak bracelet, and the Rolex Submariner....which always the crown dug into my hand. I am sure there will be something the Steelfish will fall short on, but I haven't found it yet. I won't tell my sons how I feel about this watch, because I gave them the Rolex and the Omega.Read full review
