First off I ordered a zmodo 8 channel system had to wait about a week for it when I got it they sent me 8 cameras with a 4 channel NVR so I filed a claim and sent it back them it took a week for it to get back to them they had to check it out make sure it was still good well of course it is I just received it in the mail after that they sent me the new one that also took a week so here I am waiting for 2 extra weeks for something I should of had on the first time they sent it out well besides that it's a good system good quality built cameras and the picture is decent too also the night vision on these cameras I like

Just nope
I read a lot of reviews and was pretty excited to have this show up. Once I had it and installed the cameras and get everything plugged in and powered up, I ran into issues with the nvr. It won't format, so it won't record.... Anything, and this is a very common issue with NO available fix offered yet. As if that wasn't a good enough start to this headache, the hd Port does not work, again, very common issue with these, so you are forced to use the vga port. If you're hooking it to a monitor it's not a big deal, but since I watch TV I wanted it to be really viewable by changing input source, so now I need to spend more money on a vga-to-hdmi converter. It's nice for live-view and the mobile app works as my monitor until the converter shows up, but if I was going to spend the money again, I'd get a different brand. Not impressed.Read full review

Don't waste your money on this
The HDMI does not work, you need to hook it up to a monitor. The cameras have good quality in good lighting but when low light they are terrible. Also the unit stops recording randomly so I have to keep checking weekly or more often to see the video is being recorded.

Cameras are clear and concise. I can tell who is coming when unexpected and it's very clear at night for viewing little creatures in the back yard as well. I love them so far. It's that little added protection when you are home and away. It comes in just as clear on the smartphone. Thanks!

Don't buy this brand
I bought the wireless cameras and they kept losing signal. I then bought the wired cameras and the HDMI port doesn't work for my tv. Sent it back for a replacement and that one doesn't work. Motion detection doesn't work.

Bang for your buck!
I have just hooked the unit up and still working on camera install. I have yet to setup the DVR but for the price the ease of remote viewing via internet is amazing. Plug it in and turn on your phone app and boom your viewing. I'm sure there are better systems available but for $25 or less per camera this does everything I need it to.
