Couldn't get web pages to load at first, but the previous comment about updating the APN settings to those of your carrier is exactly correct. After I figured out how to do that in the settings and called the carrier to get the APN settings, it is now working great.
Cell providers will not activate this obsolete device.
This is an obsolete model. It is no longer supported by the cellular providers. The imei number comes up as a 3G device. '4G LTE' is not true 4G. (I learned this the hard way.) You can get a SIM card for it, but the cell providers will not activate it. I tried SIM cards from both AT&T and T-Mobile. No go.
you must connect via usb to a computer and enter in the internet browser 192.168.1.1 your password should be attadmin, then you go to setting and click the network option and type your unlock code, finally you must enter your carriers apn so you can have internet access on you device.
Battery lasts about a day.
It's better than I expected. Easy to operate, uses ts9 antennas for great reception and the battery lasts along time. Put in in front of the TV and it seems invisible. Now I can turn off my expensive cable provider.
I used the mf923 for a few years, never had an issue but the new and improved mf985 I have gets hot, stops charging and has the same speed as the 923. Biggest difference I can tell is the Sim card size and able to use external antennas. If you have a 923 and it seems to be working good I'd stick with it
