Good quality. These clip in and out smoothly and easily on several models of SPD pedals that I have. So far they show minimal wear from the pedals or rocky ground. They come retail packaged as shown. Buy these for trouble free riding. With Shimano licensing SPD to other companies these will fit a lot of brands of pedals. (I accidentially ordered Wellgo cleats before thinking they were compatible but the angle on the edge of the Wellgo cleat was not right for SPD and they required a lot of force to clip in. Also the Wellgo cleats started wearing away immediately.).

If you run SPD pedals then you obviously need cleats. These are incredibly cheap given how often they need to be replaced. I buy a new set every few years when I retire a set of shoes because after 3 or 4 years the hex feature in the bolt is usually rounded or just destroyed in some fashion. New shoes, new cleats! I actually ran one set of cleats for about 10 years, and the result was not stellar. My feet began slipping out of the pedals more and more frequently. The event that finally sold me on buying a new set was upon leaving a jump, my right foot detached from my pedal and found itself wedged between the spokes of my front wheel, and my fork stanchion. To my great disappointment, the front wheel did not roll when confronted with the ground, and the next object to find the ground was me. Amazingly, I survived the experience without injury, but immediately ordered a set of cleats after the ride.
