I use this with my iPhone 12 Pro. It works really well. I love the sound quality of this mic. Only gripe I have is you have to either use the mic without a phone case or get a case with the bottom opened up. Due to the thickness of some rugged cases, the lightning connector on the mic doesn’t sit well. Other than that, the headphone jack on back as well as the wind sock really upped my audio quality.

Very small microphone with very high quality fidelity. I like the lightning connection as I have an iPhone Xs so I do not have a headphone jack to connect to. I use this for videoing my grandson running the 100m and 200m races. The Rode has very good side noise cancellation, as it reduces the un-wanted crowd noise. I'm not fond of the squirrel tail fluffy wind screen. It looks cheesy but works well.

I tried it indoors with an iphone 8 and rode"s app. Can't say i noticed any 91$ worth of sound quality. I had to compare recordings with/without the mic a couple of times to notice a slight advantage. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. It was a gift to my wife to use it for her podcasts, but she decided the slight improvement is not worth the trouble. Hardly impresive.
