The case is well made, solid and provides very good protection. It has two short comings however. One is that there is no hold down strap to retain the violin in the open case... a feature that even most canvas cases have. Second, there's no room for a shoulder rest, so it can't carry/cover the basic pieces needed to transport. It's a good storage case, but not well designed for a student transporting their instrument to and from lessons.

ok product for the money however the only issue I have is with the latches , atempting to close the hasp was frustrating to me. because at first I thought the hasp were not adjusted however when one learns what needs to happen as you attempt to close the hasp. It must be perefectly alined or you will not get them closed properly .

I carry my Carbon Composite violin in it. The case protects the violin from physical bumps and drops. The composite violin is unaffected by the weather or temperature, (extremely hot and humid or icy cold and damp). It's a great combination. The only problem with the case is it doesn't have enough extra room to comfortably store my foldable Kun Shoulder rest.

Just BARELY fits my 10.5" 5.56 percussion violin. I ripped out the guts, added my own foam, and now i ha e an awesome case. It does seem a little flexible with the added weight of a scope & loaded mags.
