QuickBooks works well, relatively easy to use and loaded with features. QB has changed their revenue strategy recently from a software-for-sale firm to a services-for-sale company. Wouldn't be an issue at all if we only used it internally, but once a year we transmit reports to our CPA for tax calculation and filing services. Now, the purchased software is "no longer supported" by Intuit after a three-year lifecycle, and products are updated just about every year. Accounting firms are upgraded yearly or online-only users, and when the product is no longer supported by Intuit, the accountants can't read an older version report from their clients, and everyone's forced to upgrade, whether the "new features" in the updated programs are needed or not. Just another unneeded and unanticipated expense for many. Thanks, Intuit.Read full review

My original QB program crashed and I had to replace it. Works great. However, we had to call Intuit to get an authorization number. They don’t like it when you purchase things from a 3rd party. Had to email them my receipt and tell them how I bought it. It all worked out.
