I bought Clint Black's "Looking For Christmas" because it was full of all fresh and newly written Christmas songs and I get tired of the same 12 to 24 Christmas songs and carols on every Christmas CD. Little did I know that Clint Black is not very good at composing original melodies or at creatively writing lyrics. I admire the fact that he tried writing his own and didn't perform any of the standard 24 or so, but his skills were not good enough for this project. He would have been much better off performing other writer's original music, such as Dolly Parton's. Her album of Christmas songs written mostly by herself and recorded on RCA with Kenny Rodgers, "Once Upon A Christmas" is a fine example of great writing, both lyrics and melody. Clint Black's effort was a far cry from that standard. Don Bob Duncan donbob1954@yahoo.comRead full review

Replacing old cassettes with CD's since the cassettes weren't working so well anymore. Great CD for the holidays.
