"Enemy at the Gates" is a very interesting WWII movie about the Battle of Stalingrad. This issue is from 2001 and is on a North American Formatted DVD. The German forces have invaded The Soviet Union and every Soviet resource is called upon to repell them in this historic battle. Most of the movie is based on facts and is told from the Soviet viewpoint - which adds to this movie's appeal. I'd suggest that this movie be watched at about the same time as the movie "Stalingrad" to obtain the maximum enjoyment. Not recommended for children. Please note that my reviews are written with no knowledge of the potential seller.

I am a history teacher and I really liked the movie. I showed the movie to my classes to show them how bad the war got in Stalingrad. They really enjoyed it and did not realize how "tough" Stalin was on his own people during WWII.
