It's all about sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll... Particularly Elvis Presley. Huge star power and an original plot make this movie a refreshing alternative to buying the new releases. After watching it several times, I just can't get over how absolutely hilarious the characters are. My God, a 3-day rookie prostitute (Patricia Arquette) and an Elvis obsessed slacker (Christian Slater) fall in love and are married in a matter of days. They visit an aspiring actor friend to sell a briefcase of cocaine stolen from her pimp. The friend's roomate (Brad Pitt) can't see through the clowd of smoke from his last bong hit. Mob boss (Christopher Walken) sends hitmen to find the thieves, all hell breaks loose. The drug dealer contact, aspiring actor, a failed actor and director, the mob, and about 5 cops all have one of the best shootouts since "Heat." I love this movie. It is a not so traditional love story. My boyfriend looked and the title of the movie and instantly thought "Chick Flick"! Boy was he wrong. It’s all Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll. The premise of the film that a new call girl could fall in love with her Client and get married within a few days. The Client then feels that he needs to defend her honor with her pimp and the drama goes from there. Lots of action with a few mushy scenes thrown in for good measure. Typical Tarantino because of the twists and turns this movie takes. Defiantly a must own for any Tarantino fan!
While this a far fetched story, I'm sure it could happen in real Life. Nonetheless, it is an interesting and intertaining tale

Very good movie! Interesting characters and the plot keeps you captivated. The action scenes are over the top ridiculous, but that is part of the allure of the movie. Very interesting to see so many top-actors in the movie playing very nonchalant roles, but again, that's what makes this movie so awesome! Highly recommended!
