Henshin a go-go, baby -- Capcom's winning mix of old school 2D platforming and psychedelic 3D environments returns to both PlayStation 2 and its original GameCube home in this sequel. While designed to hold true to the gameplay and presentation of the original, Viewtiful Joe 2 features a new playable character and bestows new "visual effects" powers on its heroes. Players can now explore the cinematically inspired game world in the role of Joe's girlfriend Sylvia, who is armed with her pom-poms and a projectile weapon. In addition to the "Zoom In" and time-control powers seen in the original, Viewtiful Joe now has access to a "Replay" ability, which allows him to quickly repeat his best moves in the heat of play, thus inflicting three times the damage from an attack (or receiving three times the benefit when he powers-up).

Very good action title
This game is widely praised by game critics around the world. The only complaint I've heard about it was the fact that it stick too close to the original Viewtiful Joe, also released for the GameCube. I've never played the original one, so I'm perfectly fine with that. The game is very fun, excellent controls and a unique graphic style. Gameplay is filled with cool and different moves, all of them easily delivered through simples button combinations. There are very few beat 'em up titles worthy of note nowadays, and if you are an old-school fan of the genre, I'm certain you'll love this one. If the price is right, there is absolutely no reason not to buy it.

Viewtiful Game 2!
Viewtiful Joe 2 is the sequel to one of the best side scrolling action platorming beat em ups I have ever played. Bringing back the old VFX powers and abilities and adding some new to the mix. Viewtiful Joe 2 now allows you to play as either Viewtiful Joe or Sexy Silvia and depending on who you pick decides what powers you get. The story is just as amazing as the first with it continuing right where the first one left off. Having to save Movieland from an alien invasion being led by a group called Gedow who of which are trying to steal the seven "Rainbow Oscars" which are said to hold the happy endings. So yet again Viewtiful Joe steals the lime light with an outstanding sequel to a game which really didn't need one.

I just love this game. It's fantastic and you'll have a blast playing it. Joe and Sylvia have their own unique styles of gameplay. You get to total of four VFX powers including Slow,Mach Speed(Joe only),Zoom In,and the new Replay(Sylvia only). You can buy all sorts of cool upgrades to help you out on adventure,and you'll take down plenty of enemis and bosses. Overall, this game rocks!!! Go buy it!!!

Viewtifull game
This game is very fun . your this character called Joe and he got sucked in in to the movies and now he can transform into a cool hero called viewtifull Joe and has abilities like slow down time witch causes more damage to enemies wen u attack them or doge hits and bullets. but your not alone this time you are now accompanied by your girl friend called silvia and she has powers like slow down time and something called replay which repeats her attack making it way more effective. but the down side is that there is co-op or multiplayer mode in the game but this game overall is very fun and has a great look and great game play
