WONDERFUL Whynter portable AC with heater!!!!
I have a VERY large master suite and this unit cooled it off enough to sleep all night for the first time since May. And....the high temperature was 113 for the day. I even had to pull up a light weight cotton blanket during the night. I turned the fan down to the lowest setting and it maintained the temperature. I t ford make some noise, but not enough to keep me from sleeping. The unit turned my oven of a bedroom into a wonderfully cool room. I would recommend that you purchase a Cool_Aide to put around the exhaust tube to keep heat from going back into room. I haven't tried the heating function, but hopefully it will be just a great as the cooling feature!! I am extreme happy with this purchase!!!!! LOVE, LOVE LOVE it!!!!!!! Did the job I wanted it to do.
Other than being loud, this air conditioner performs well and I noticed no increase in my electric bill from when my heat pump was still working. It cooled my 700 sq. ft. condo with no problem whatsoever this past summer. I wish I would purchased it sooner
The portable heat pump is a nice addition to my home, ease of use and installation makes this a great purchase. A friend purchased the AC only model and was highly pleased, I recently moved into a Town home with electric heat so I purchased the unit to supplement or replace the forced air heaters in the home, so far no issues and it does as it says.
