The primary reason to seek a new battery is that the original battery you have doesn't last as long as you want it to. I did not have unrealistic expectations from this 2800 mAh battery, except I thought it would last 12 hours on the run from 8 AM to 8 PM. It's been 5 days since I'm using this product and I'm yet to see a day in which the battery doesn't drop to 10% by 2 PM in the afternoon. That's actually worse than the 2 year old battery which this was intended to replace. P.S. The product was delivered very fast and just as described.

Simple to install - lift off back by inserting fingernail in slot on back and then carefully remove the entire back, remove original battery and insert the new one. Mine came with more than a 50% charge so after I closed the back, I plugged it in and charged it to 100%. It takes longer to write this review than it did to change the battery in my S5.
