I replaced a 50 gal. water heater with this tankless water heater. I must say I was reluctant at first before I even order it . I have put a few of these heater before years ago that claimed it would give plenty water only keep in mind was 25 - 30 years ago they never work as advertised. So I talk to people who had these heaters, I done other research on internet. So I order and installed it must say my wife I have used it washing clothes, dish washer. Shower, bathtub many item at same time No trouble at all. Looking for the difference in my power bill.

This product works great, however, it is not a whole house unit. We have a small 3 bedroom 1 bath house, I remodeled the bathroom with a four by eight shower with a 2.5 gallon per minute full body shower on one side and just a regular shower head on the other side. The other shower head is 1.8 gallons per minute so that's four point three gallons per minute of use in the shower, this five gallons per minute unit does not provide hot water to both showers. It does not provide hot water from one shower head and the kitchen sink. However, this product does do what it says for Endless hot water the only thing is it's just for one water source not multiple. I hope this review helps I'll keep it until I buy a bigger unit. Thanks

the directions need to be written so as to be a little clearer. also they are missing some important information like you need to use appliance hose to hook up the water and not regular line connectors. setting the water temp takes a little time and depends on where you live and incoming water temp but when you get it this unit seems to be top shelf. I would have bought one sooner but I was waiting on my old tank unit to die. I would recommend this unit to anyone and installing it is straight forward, after a couple calls to the company.

The unit was fairly easy to install and re-plumb from existing water lines. The electrical was more extensive because new wiring had to be run, again not difficult if you have experience. if not hire an electrician. The pressure drop across the unit was a little more than expected. I think operation of the unit will be easier in the summer when the incoming water will be warmer and delta T will be less. I have single lever fixtures in my showers and adjusting the temp is a bit tricky because turning the handle modulates both hot and cold water making even temperature difficult. This is getting easier with time.

This is my 2nd install of an electric, tank-less water heater. The other brand was installed in my NY home, this unit in my VA home. Both are very similar in install and operation. This unit lights up upon water flowing thru it and gives a comprehensive status report. I like that and the fact I can monitor it working right after install. As the years go by these units are getting less expensive, smaller and more efficient. This company has been around since the 1950's so I felt confident with my purchase. So much room left over and quiet operation...I love it. Make sure you have the correct amount of electric service coming into your home. You can ask your electric company for a service upgrade...most upgrades are free or minimal cost since they are making it easier for you to buy more power from them, and if you plan on staying in your home for the next 20-30 years that's more $$ to them.Read full review

in stalled at my cottage, works well, installed in less than 4 hours. I was so small I was able to add more storage. I bought a second one for rental property to have on hand when one fails since it does not take up much storage

Works just fantastic for the shower. A little more iffy at the kitchen sink. It seems I can turn on the hot water and it works fine but if I turn on the cold water to lower the water temp from HOT to medium warm, at a certain point, the unit shuts down and no longer heats the water until I turn back the cold water. Tricky to find the right spot for the cold water combination. I don't think it should work this way but haven't tried to contact Marey by phone yet. As long as it works fine for the shower and bath, I'm OK with it. Trying to adjust the water temp at the kitchen sink is difficult....but we can live with that.

This unit replaced our large 50gal water heater. We love the space we have now. We needed to install larger breaker switches for the electric and plumbing was quite easy. We live in one of the colder zones and I had concerns that we woukd have to trickle the water so it would be real hot. Its winter here and am happy to report it works fine. I cant wait to see the savings from the Eco180 in my utility bill.

This was a very smart decision to install the on demand hot water heater. I bought the 5 GPM heater which is enough for the two of us. I live in the northeast in a cape style house with about 1400 square feet. I suggest if your house is over 2000 square feet, I would go with a bigger output demand heater. It has reduced my monthly electric bill about $45-$50 and should recoup the money for the heater and electrician in about 18 months. The savings will depend on your hot water usage and the temperature of the output water. My old electric water temp output was 127 degrees and the on demand is only 113 degrees. I barely use any cold water while taking a shower so there is also a savings on your water bill. The installation of the heater is pretty simple if you have some plumbing knowledge. I do recommend to use a licensed electrician unless you are very knowledgeable about wiring. I wish I did install the on demand heater years ago. Allan in ConnecticutRead full review

This is a good item but is weak on the flow rate. It doesnt appear to be 5 gpm unless the water temp is above 100 degrees. This is a good deal as long as water heads are changed out with approximately 1 to 1.5 gpm. Item heats great at that point. No problems yet after a few weeks of use.
