Lens is as good as I expected. Sharp shots with natural color. Wide angle but no big distortion in the margin. Perfect fit with E mount Sony. Lens was made in high quality. The accessories are good as well. Tripod and lens filters are made in good quality.
The best wide-angle lens available for a Sony APS-C camera
I watched several videos before buying this lens. I already own the excellent Sigma 30mm/f1.4, so I had no doubt this would be of equal or better quality, and I was right. I think Sigma makes the best lenses for the money on the Sony APS-C cameras such as my A6000. I wanted this lens for the wider view, which I find useful for snapping shots in crowds or tight situations. The 30mm is really nice, but I found it too long for use in tighter settings.
Amazing quality lens. Its hefty and doesn't feel cheap. The image quality recording 4k videos on a Sony A6400 is amazing!! The bokeh effect at f1.4 is really awesome. The auto focus is pretty quick on it as well. I haven't had any issues in using it over the past week.
Using this on my A7II body. Don’t listen to the people who say not to use crop sensor lenses on full frame bodies. Unless you need to print bill boards the crop factor will not matter. Really amazing lens! Very sharp and using f1.4 provides a lot of flexibility in what you can do with this lens.
