Very bright and visible reticle under most lighting scenarios. I have found them (I own 4) to be very rugged and able to retain zero after switching reticles and removing and remounting them (with quick connect mount). I have seen people reviewing these as having bad reticle images but the photos associated show the reticle brightness set to an excessive level for the ambient lighting. I have used them on several rifles and shotguns of multiple calibers and have had no issues with them at all. I would highly recommend these in lieu of spending hundreds more unless you plan on taking them into harsh daily combat conditions.
