Great value receiver
My intention was to use this receiver to provide overhead speaker sound for my television and as a FM radio. It has a lot of modern features as described when I purchased it. The remote control is a very basic control device that needs to be close in proximity with the unit. It does not have a power control feature which is a bummer. Bluetooth would have been another great feature to have, but I understand the need to keep the cost down on this bargain unit., So far everything works great!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not excited about this purchase.
The selling point for us for this receiver was the USB port. Unfortunately the USB button doesn't work. We have the push, the pull the power button out to get the machine to turn off. The unit was not the cheapest unit option out there, nor was it quality priced, but is definitely a cheap unit. Cheap parts, cheap plastic as expected. The lights on the face of the machine are extremely bright, the picture does not do it justice. At least we don't forget to turn it off. It does carry sound from our XM Radio box to the speakers, so it wan't a complete waste of money. I bought this reciever to replace a high end receiver I use in my barn. The barn is new and used for events and such. What a great item to say the least and the price. But the functions with BlueTooth and all wasn't enough. The sound is great and like I said this was replacing a very high end receiver. I don't ever leave reviews but! Bringing music to the outdoors...

Cheap price and function.
Very poor sound quality. The bass is not truly bass it is just absence of treble. FM is nearly impossible to set presets as there are no directions. Amplifier review.
This unit does a decent job for the price of a service call now a days. Is designed for manual button action and is clearly labeled. The remote is limited like one can not turn unit on and off via the remote. Unit does all the basics fine but, there is no digital audio input from your audio source. Does the job at a reasonable price
Bought this to go in my work shop. I had a previous system fail that had 6 speakers. This was an inexpensive way to replace that old unit. Just hooked it up to the old speakers. It seems to be working just fine for this application. I assume sound quality depends on your speakers, but my sound quality is just fine. I do not play music super loud so cannot rate this system on how loud it can be. This unit performs for my needs. This isn't high quality, but does serve the purpose of pushing sound through the speakers, at a reasonable price. USB limitations
I don't have streaming in my shop where I listen to music and use the USB and memory stick to listen. However, it's difficult to fast forward and find the songs or albums you want. The remote let you skip ahead (or back) faster, but it stopped working on the second day of use.
