One of the voltmeters shorted out and I looked into it and found that it was caused by the red and black wires being so close to the component on the circuit board. To fix this use hot glue to keep the wires from moving and causing a short. So it does require TLC and some glue. Addendum: Make sure you don't apply more than 30 volts to the red wire, otherwise the unit will fail.
