I have been a Canon user for many years and have experience with decades of body and lens transitions. Being a L-Glass f2.8 fan I never would have thought to consider a f/4L until one brought and I picked up a 70-200 f/4 and was pleasantly surprised by its light weight, smaller size for packing but best of all image quality. It has performed in low light with high ISO flawless and the depth of field proved to be a non-issue. I have no cons with this lens and have converted all my glass to f/4 in mirrorless.
