It runs and runs and runs!
Wouldn't work for an entire apartment (as expected) so be prepared to buy multiple if you need. We were looking for a fan and a highly rated purifier combo. For being a refurb, this seemed brand new! I am ready to buy the first filter after about 6 months of use, and we have a long hair large breed dog, so I'm impressed! I was scared to keep it on for long periods of time of fear that the motor might break, but this thing has been going strong for a few days at a time! Louder than expected
It is louder than I expected. The design is sleek, however there is no easy way to pick it up. The instructions say do NOT lift by the top loop; I suggest it needs 'hand holds' at the base. Better Than The Rest for Awhile
Received 35 days ago, and have been running the unit every minute of everyday since! No problems. Very quiet up to the "6 speed" setting, but still more quiet than a typical fan on the "10 speed". Love the design. Update: August 2022. After over 6 months, the unit cuts off 2X per day with code "F3". And I replace the filter as recommended. Dyson fan
This fan/filter is the way to go! This is my second one. My first one I had basically ran 24/7 for 6 years so I’d say I got my money’s worth out of it and it was a refurbished one like this one. I’m looking forward to years of service from this fan/filter as well. They filter the air very well!

Quiet and weak or noisy and powerful. You have to pick one.
I bought this because I thought it would be powerful and quiet. It's a mixed bag. If you turn it up to get a good wind then it is noisy and not good for sleeping. If you turn it down to a quiet enough speed to sleep it hardly moves any air even from six feet away. All functions are controlled via remote which is sometimes inconvenient. Didn’t work as expected
I expected a certified refurbished product would work well, possibly with some minor cosmetic damage, but be fully functional. Instead the fan began oscillating the instant that it was plugged in, before the fan was turned on. The only way to stop it from oscillating was to unplug it. The remote worked for everything except for stopping the oscillation. This fan was a great purchase! I’m one that has to sleep with the fan on every night. This fan has great white-noise that will make you fall asleep fast. The air that blows from the fans feels clean and most importantly, it keeps me cool throughout the night. I enjoy that the magnet on top allows the remote to reside there; I easily lose the remote to things.
