I was blown away at the amazing insulation of this product. So thin, yet so comfortable. I can put it out on the ground, with tarp for protection, or throw it in a hammock. We backpack a lot. I can deal with temps, haven't used it in cold yet but will, so I can't tell you there, but it is amazing that when you lay flat even on your hip you never hit the ground.

As this is is a refurbished product they came with some minor stains and glue points were it was repaired. Each sleeping pad had two repaired leaks. The repair looks very professionally thaken care off. I did inflate them and try them. I can say that they feel preatty comfortable and goos quality. But I have not test for a nigth on the outdoors.

Getting older, needing a more accommodating sleep pad for backpacking. This does the trick! Well worth the slight increase in weight, for me anyway. Whatever one's age, this offers a great night's sleep, which can make reeling in the miles a little easier. Of course, give it a good going over before you go out. No leaks in mine. Took just a little practice learning how to close the inflation cap without depressing the deflate button on the opposite side of the inflate valve, but it's all good.

The size is perfect. You can keep your arms and hands on the pad, nice texture, soft, and welded seams are wide. I got a reconditioned item and it's fine. Not ultra light for hiking/backpacking, but I will get rest on this pad. Two complaints: I didn't get instructions on how to patch it, but did get the repatch materials and I can't get it back into the bag. LOL. Buy this larger pad, and you'll be happy.
