The Linksys Velop Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi is a great product. Set up is incredibly easy with the Linksys iPhone app. I was able to set up the primary router with 2 remote nodes in about 10 minutes and had fast internet all throughout our home. I completely endorse this product.

I have a 4300 Sq. Ft house and 10k Sq. Ft perimeter yard and Velop can reach even further than that! No drops so far and it’s been two weeks of glorious uninterrupted high speed internet. I upgraded my service to 200 mpbs no caps with Spectrum and I even go up to 280 mpbs doing the speed test. No lags, no drops, outstanding app that tells you which devices are on or off and how many. Overall, really happy with this device and I just hope it lasts for a long time.

I bought the AC6600 (Tri-Pack) and having used the Velop Mesh WiFi for multiple clients, I was prepared for the setup glitches that you encounter and used the node reset to get around those issues. The nodes determine the best path to the base and connect as a spoke or daisy chain for maximum coverage. The refurbished produce was well packaged in generic boxes with all documentation, power supply, and ethernet cable. If you need more than 3 nodes for the size of your house, it is a simple process to add additional nodes. I have sucessfully used the Velop Mesh system in Home and SMB environments.

I have Gb fiber internet. Direct hard wired is right at a 990 Mbps. With the Velop, you may get 250 Mbps a couple feet from the primary unit every once in a while. Most of the time... 125 Mbps. So typically 80% loss over the Velop when you're next to the primary node. Reliability on the Velop is classic Linksys - total crap. I've spent 40-50 hours messing with their system this year - and I'm kicking myself because I need to just eat the $350 this dumb thing cost me and just go with something else. Half those hours have been with their tech support (which is decent) but I can tell they're frustrated because they can't get their product to work. I am going to structural wire my house because it would have taken me less time, less money, and I'd have at least 4x the speed. FU Linksys for wasting my time and causing so much frustration, again! First time is an accident, second time is a mistake. Not going to be a third time.Read full review

I replaced from a very nice tri band system from Linksys. I also had two excellent extenders for upstairs and downstairs usage plus patio. Worked well but with 500 mbps I wanted better on a few areas in the house. This Linksys fit the bill. Linksys has excellent customer support as they are always willing to help. Got this package on a refurb deal and saved a ton. Just remember that using wireless you can only realistically get half of your wired Ethernet speeds. I,m getting in most cases with most devices 250 with the exception of wired at 500mbps. I prefer Linksys over net gear but that’s what I have used for many years now.
