I was really hoping that I would be able to boot from it from an legacy motherboard, similar to the OCZ Revo Drive but alas, it seems there isnt an easy way to boot NVMe on legacy systems.

Used as a scratch/data drive in a HP Z420 workstation using default Windows 10 driver. Also tested without problem with a brand new 1 TB Intel 660p nvme SSD. Met read/write sequential/random benchmark expectations once installed in appropriate PCIe slot. Have not tested as a boot drive so far due to the likely limitations of the motherboard of that generation of HP Z workstations.

These are great units to convert your computer boot drive to nvme to gain a little speed. All you have to do is remove Q1 transistor from the circuit board and should be able to boot from any computer I have. Great product and service. A+++
