Great Product. Bad Result.
I recently purchased this product because I wanted another fast charge outlet for my Galaxy S6. It was a reasonable price so I decided to buy it. Shipped quick, and was in new condition when I opened it. My BIG problem with it was when after only a few days of not even a few hours use, the cable stopped working. I tested all possibilities (All means all), but the cable stopped working. I have a ton of micro usb cables lying around so I just plugged those in and it works fine. The plug itself is still working just as well as it did upon opening the package. The cable, well it's been retired to the junk drawer. Overall, if you are looking to purchase this as a replacement, be sure to have an extra micro usb cable lying around just in case you get one that stopped working like mine. I'm sure this isn't a common problem, but it was a problem with mine. I bought it for the plug, so I'll be okay. I just want everyone to be aware that the micro usb cable could be faulty, and stop working after a few charges.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

1 Stopped fast charging and the other completely dead
I ordered 2 of these. One in October that stays plugged in at my office and one recently in December. The one I received in October no longer will fast charge. The pins are not bent or anything as the cord doesn't move and I only use it if my battery is low in my office, which is not often. So I would say I've plugged my phone into this cord maybe 20 times if that and for the past 2 days I can no longer get it to fast charge. I guess we'll see how long the one I received in December works. Update: So, the one I ordered in December no longer works at all. I've changed outlets and cords and nada. I had my husband try his phone and nope, still doesn't work. I plug my phone into my husbands charger and it works. So the one I've only had for 2 weeks is completely dead. Fast charger for Samsung
If you upgrade phone to one with USB-C (or whatever it's called) you'd need an adapter between charger cable and phone since phone's port is not same shape as Galaxy S7 and older models - or just get a newer cable.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

note 5 disconnecting and connecting when charging
work for like 2 days only and started having problems, when i charge my note 5 it says charging and disconnects and reconnects. I didn't bother to wait it out so i switch both usb around with the one that came with my note 5 when i bought it and it started working now and the one i bought from here it works kinda it still does the disconnecting issue sometime. Not a properly functioning OEM Charger
This charger has similar appearance to the OEM GS7 Chargers, but the problem with it is that it is always fast charging, even when the setting is turned off. This causes the battery to charge faster, which is nice, but it also discharges much quicker which is obviously not great. Over heating issues
Bought 2 of these Samsung OEM S6 Edge power adapters/charges and BOTH have heating issues. They get so hot they turn themselves off for about 15 seconds, then back on. Your phone will sit there and beep when it turns off, then beep when it comes back on. The cord is nice, but this adapter is DANGEROUS!
