I read mixed reviews on the Condor walnut heavy duty kukri. Some saying there was blade deformation after chopping. But still this kukri had better reviews over Condors other kukri options. Let me say that those with blade deformation either got one from a bad batch or it was user error. I chopped halfway through a hardwood 2x4 with ease. There was absolutely no damage to the blade. It held its edge and stayed sharp. I will say it could use a little bit of sharpening out of the box if you want a razor sharp edge but it's definitely sharp enough to chop right out the gate. Sliced through rope like butter after chop test. And field tested perfectly in brush in my backyard. The spine is thick and properly tapered. Good quality sheath with a very nice design. It is smaller than a normal kukri but still has the weight to get the job done. All in all I'm extremely pleased with this kukri and it will be a nice addition to my main gear. Read full review

It's not super sharp out of the box but a little work and it's ready to go. At this price it is a great buy for a great Kukri.
