Marines knife-It’s just ok as-is. Good knife to customize.
The blade is of fair quality, decent steel, but it only has the fuller groove on one side. The handle is fair as well, but my USMC emblems were sort of glued or melted on? Plastic handle with thick rubber overlay. I added a contoured, cupped steel washer to the pommel, and I wrapped the handle with flat camouflage cord, secured by tying and adhesive, and it’s a pretty good knife now. Actually, I would have probably left the handle wrap off if the USMC emblems hadn’t been such a mess. I left a positive feedback for this item, as it did end up being a good usable knife, and the sheath is of reasonable quality. I may later add a stag handle to this knife, so I didn’t dare leave bad feedback for a knife that will rate so highly when I’m finished with it.
