Actually not a bad laptop: clean nice keyboard and screen. For me - unlocking the BIOS was a real challenge. I thought it was a simple remove the CMOS battery - no it was a supervisor password - which required taking apart the entire laptop apart and shorting out the eeprom chip. Proearthtech was helpful - but it required a lot of trial and error - since I had never done this before. Even with the BIOS unlocked - the Windows install would not recognize a new SSD drive. I put in a pre-installed Windows Drive and updated the firmware and BIOS - then I was able install a new fresh Windows 10 on a SSD drive.. Other than that It's a nice T430 - I gained a lot of experience.
