I’ve used these in the past and it does work as a temporary fix with pin hole leaks on the radiator and heater core.

These were recommended by my Volvo mechanic. They worked in the past. However, currently I may have a leak in my heater core that is not fixable with the tablets. I’m not sure. I’m still watching the coolant level. He never recommends something that doesn’t work. He had used them in his cars. Thanks

Had a thermostat fail on my 1990 silverado with a 305 engine. Ended up blowing the head gasket where it was filling up cylinder #6 with so much antifreeze it would almost hydrolock the motor upon start up and smoke up the yard for 5 minutes. After using these tablets it fixed the problem about 98%. Going on 3 years now since i blew the gasket and truck still runs great. Occasionally get a slight miss on start up or smell of antifreeze but clears up in a few seconds. Doesn’t clog up your radiator or heater core like ive seen some of the liquid head gasket repair do. About every 5-6 months ill crush up another tablet and put it in just to make sure, posted a picture, never leave home without em

I changed the coolant but failed to recognize the need for these tablets. Needless to say my engine was leaking coolant in a few spots and was overheating. These necessary tablets restored everything. Do not ignore the note on top of the radiator. Buy these!
